Yesterday being the 31st day of may, 2012, i was privileged to appear before her learned justice Obadina {mrs} at the commercial division of the lagos state high court, TBS, Lagos Island around the hour of 9 in the forenoon or soon there after;
Registra {announces to the hearing of the court}; Suit No; id/2105/09, between Remilekun okanlawon & ors and Unity bank & anor.
{he then faces the Judge}; parties present my Lord.
JUDGE: appearances?
DAN; with humility me lady, S.D Bulusson, appearing for the claimant.
JUDGE: yes!
IKOGHADE: Respectfully my Lord, H.A Ikoghade for the defendant.
JUDGE: yes!
DAN; me Lady, the matter was adjourned today for report of service.
JUDGE: yes,,,, Mr Ikoghode
IKOGHADE: my Lord, as at wednesday, the sheriff had not produced proof of service on behalf of the party that is sougth to be joined, so my Lord, we would be seeking for an adjournment to enable the sheriff perfect service.
JUDGE: Bulusson, any objection?
DAN: me Lady, we are suppose to argue the defendant's motion, but since proof of service is an essential pre-requisite to arguing the motion, i see no need at the moment why i should object, so no Objection.
JUDGE: very well then, is the 25th of june, convenient?
BOTH COUNSELS; it's convenient.
JUDGE: this matter is hereby adjourned till the 25th day of June, for report of service.
