I
had a discussion with a close friend of mine, Nana Tijany, during the weekend
about my new project “Monday breakfast” and the following conversation ensued:
NANA;
what is Monday breakfast?
DAN; Monday breakfast is a project created to talk
about events that occurred during the past weeks in this beloved country of
ours from a youths perspective?
NANA;
what events?
DAN;
you know! Happenings in politics,
entertainment, sports & law. Monday breakfast is also created to provide
inspiration to the youth on how to handle the coming week.
NANA;
to handle the coming week? i believe no
one can tell the future, so how do you intend to make this possible?
DAN;
Thank you! you see, i totally agree that the future is unpredictable, what i
don’t agree with is accepting it the way it comes, be it good or bad. Now, my
philosophy is this, though we can’t tell the future we can however shape it in
the direction we would like it to be, for there is no power that can bring you
down but yourself.
NANA;
you still haven’t told me how you intend to impact positively in my forth
coming week?
DAN;
yes! God’s willing, i hope to write on virtues us youths should possess like
character, how to better relate with one another, faith, making use of the
genie-of-the-mind and all that.
NANA;
so how do i get in touch with you when i have a question to ask about my social
experiences in life?
DAN;
as life is a learning process, i would wish we all develop ourselves
collectively, so where a write up is talking about, lets say faith, and you
have had past experiences on it , you could ask a question at the bottom
provided for comment and collectively we would find an answer to such situation
in any little way.
NANA;
what if i wanted it to be private?
